2/11 Making the Most of Machine Applique by Sandy Fitzpatrick from 1-4 at Randy's Quilt Shop, cost is $20.00. Contact Connie Thompson if you are interested in learning new techniques for machine applique. Sandy is providing a crooked gourd and fat squatty gourd pattern in the cost of the class. More gourd patterns are available for $8.00. Supplies include:sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, open toed applique foot, free-motion foot, thread colors to match your fabrics, applique press sheet, pencil, scissors for paper and fabric, 1 yard Heat 'n Bond lite fusible web, fabric sandwich 18"by 22" of two light colored fabrics with light-weight batting inside for a little free motion experience, background fabric and border fabric-3/4yd, and, inner border flange-1/8 yd.
