March Program

Have you wondered what needles are best to use with some of the new threads that are available?  Come join us as Nancy Sapin, a national educator for Sulky of America, helps answer those questions for us as well as provides many other tips.  The lecture , "Thread Jazz for Quilting and Embellishing-Needle and Thread Know-How" is one and a half hours.  We will begin promptly at 7 pm with the program.   Guests are welcome with a $5 fee for nonmembers.  If you plan to bring friends, please let Connie know  so that a notebook can be ordered.  We will each receive a notebook of handouts and goodies valued at $7.00.  There will also be a door prize awarded by Nancy to some lucky viewer (guild members only) .

Come join us for a great evening and get new ideas to use in those quilts you are preparing for the Quilt Show.

The boutique workshop this Friday night has been cancelled due to inclement weather.  I'm asking all members who were planning to come to please work at home this weekend making 14 1/2" pillowtops or completed 14" pillows for the boutique. At the Feb. 20 workshop we will make more pillows , Christmas ornaments and cooking aprons for little girls. I have the pattern for the aprons. Many thanks to all, Barbara Wolfe. You can reach me on the cell phone 324-4813.
