Our meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at:
St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2715 Horsepen Creek Road, Greensboro, NC
Hospitality (refreshments and socializing) begins at 7:00 PM followed by the meeting, program, and show-and-tell at 7:15
There is now a $5 charge for visitors, including for a first visit. This fee will be applied to the membership fee if they join by the next meeting. This is to help defray the cost of our speakers.
March Program
Have you wondered what needles are best to use with some of the new threads that are available? Come join us as Nancy Sapin, a national educator for Sulky of America, helps answer those questions for us as well as provides many other tips. The lecture , "Thread Jazz for Quilting and Embellishing-Needle and Thread Know-How" is one and a half hours. We will begin promptly at 7 pm with the program. Guests are welcome with a $5 fee for nonmembers. If you plan to bring friends, please let Connie know so that a notebook can be ordered. We will each receive a notebook of handouts and goodies valued at $7.00. There will also be a door prize awarded by Nancy to some lucky viewer (guild members only) .
Come join us for a great evening and get new ideas to use in those quilts you are preparing for the Quilt Show.
In the event of bad weather, the Guild will use Guilford Technical Community College's (GTCC) decision regarding cancellation of evening classes. If evening classes are cancelled, the Guild meeting will be cancelled.
